Regarding the different linguistic versions of the Wiktionary, extremely dynamic communities exist on « small » Wiktionaries; for example, there is an active community on the [[:ur:|Urdu Wiktionary]] (a language spoken in Pakistan) : they have multiplied by more than 5 the number of articles reaching more than {{nobr|29000}} articles. Urdu Wiktionary ranks at second place for its growth among all Wikimedia project (regardless of language). Then, there is the [[:nen:|Nepalese Wiktionary]] (+153 %) and the [[:bn:|Bengali Wiktionary]] (+101 %). With an evolution of slightly more than 6% of its number of pages, the French Wiktionary ranks at 31{{st}} place.
En queue de classement, on trouve 73 versions linguistiques du Wiktionnaire, soit environ 50% de toutes les versions, pour lesquelles le nombre d’articles a évolué de moins de 1% et même 14 qui n’ont eu aucune évolution dans leur nombre d’entrées pendant un an. Le [[:zh:|Wiktionnaire en chinois]] avec plus d’un million d’articles fait partie de cette seconde moitié ce qui laisse penser que la communauté est à l’arrêt.
