The ''Dico des Ados'' is a website hosting word definitions written by and for teenagers, i.e. mainly 8-13 years old. Definitions are preferably simple, with no word requiring other definitions and with appropriate examples. This website has been set up by a teacher — Vivian Epiney — who built educational activities on definition redaction by his students, and wanted to add value to their work and preserve it in the long term. He then set up a website and used MediaWiki, the tool behind the Wiktionary and Wikipedia. He used a pared down graphical design and some nice drawings. After months of completion, the teacher in charge notified Vikidia — Wikipedia for youngsters — of the project existence, and we posted a few messages at that moment. Reciprocal links were created on the pages of both projects to strengthen their synergy, and links to the Wiktionary were automatically added on each page of the Dico des Ados.
Rien à redire sur l’ergonomie du site, ou sur le formulaire de contribution (un vrai éditeur visuel adapté !), ni sur les très claires pages pour les adultes, avec notamment une [https://dicoado.org/dico/Aide:Pr%C3%A9sentation_dicoado très belle présentation en quelques diapos], un [https://dicoado.org/dico/Aide:Pour_les_profs document de conseils pour les enseignants qui voudraient participer avec leurs classes] et [https://dicoado.org/dico/Dico:Article_dans_R%C3%A9sonances_(f%C3%A9vrier_2019) un article paru dans la presse locale ce mois-ci sur le projet].
