- De f, première lettre de fuck, et de word, locution euphémiste utilisée par tabou et conventions sociales ou pour contourner la censure qui touche les médias grand public, afin d’éviter de dire ce mot.
- En français ficher a eu la tâche de remplacer foutre, ce qui explique le participe passé irrégulier de ce verbe du premier groupe, fichu qui fait pendant à foutu.
