The purport of the journey of M. Van Eupen, secretary to the Belgick Congress, to Liege, was to complain of the seizure of some hundreds of Fusils made by the gunsmiths of that city for the services of the Belgick Provinces, and not to conclude a treaty of Union between the people of Liege and the Belgic provinces, as was asserted in some public papers.
